Wherever You Go, There You Are....

The best part of being 10 1/2 months old is living in the moment. We went somewhere and rode on big machines. Saxon got really excited and started to talk loudly about someone named "Thomas."

Mostly, I don't really know where I am going...but I do enjoy the ride.

Christmas Tree Thief

One day, while minding my own business and playing in the living room, I noticed something in the corner.

I crawled over (cause that is what I do now) and checked it out.

It was a Christmas tree.

I reached out for the sparkliest item I could grab and pulled...

...and I wasn't sorry. Tinsel is wonderful!

Oooh! This is my favorite! Do you think my mom will let me keep it?

What would YOU do?

So, here is a situation....a moral dilemna, if you like. Mom, Dad and Saxon are running around like crazy trying to get the car packed to go to Saxon's birthday party at Gymboree. Mom belts me into my car seat and Dad puts the newly made cupcakes up on the back shelf where they will be safe. On the way, a biker pulls out in front of Dad and he makes a sudden stop. I am eerily quiet until we get to Gymboree. Mom opens the door and...

I mean, if six cupcakes fell into YOUR lap, what would you do? Yes, as a matter of fact, you DO see two completely empty cupcake cases in my lap. I managed to eat two whole cupcakes and take significant bites out of three others in less than 10 minutes!
Did I mention that my new favorite food is cupcakes?

Winter Pixie Trixie

Sunday, we looked at the Christmas lights on Regent's Street and walked through Green Park. They tell me that it is Winter in London but I feel snug as a bug.

Dinner Conversation

Since I have started eating solid food, a new social outlet has revealed itself to me. I am a master dinner conversationalist.

I am quite impassioned about Old Mac Donald and his fascinating farm...
And the crocodile you see when you row, row, row your boat concerns me in many ways...
You might also notice that so sophisticated am I that I especially coordinate my eyeshadow with my lipstick for dinner...this shade is called carrot parsnip.

Halloween in London

I am back in London but, truthfully, napping in a stroller feels pretty much the same on either side of the Atlantic.

Here is my latest new trick--clapping!
And, of course, I still do lots of my favorite things--playing and smiling.

America the yummy

I went to a place called America and started eating solid food.
I am such a big girl in a high chair and bib! America is a delicious place.

Diaper Changing in Exotic Locations

According to Saxon, we went on holiday. I am not really sure what that means but here I am in my car seat going somewhere.
This is usually what happens after 10 minutes in my car seat.
Next thing I know, we are there...right?
Does a holiday mean tht I get in my swimsuit and play with my feet?
Or maybe it means getting in my stroller and riding around to different places?
I did go to a sandy place called a beach but, it was a bit too sunny for me.
I liked riding in the grocery cart for the first time!
But my favorite part of my holiday was traveling with my mom like this.
So if this is a holiday, it is really quite nice.

Happy 0.5 Birthday to Me!

Can you believe it? I am 6 months old! And let me tell you, I am no longer just a sleeping, eating machine. The world has suddenly gotten very interesting. For example, let me introduce you to my new friend Elmo.
I have developed an active interest in playing with toys.
Also, I have been practicing alot of this. I don't really know what this is leading up to, but I like the possibilities....

Honorary Poodle

My repertoire has been growing (just like me) and I can even do a few poodle tricks! I now sit but, for the record, the pillow behind me is not an aid. I assure you I am sitting all by myself. However, after a few minutes, I fatigue, loose my balance and topple. My mom puts the pillow there to keep me from whacking my head.

I roll over...but unlike Kari, not on command.

And, as usual, I look cute which, to be honest, is the least tiring of them all.
